A great time was had by all at the 8th annual ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York Fall Cocktail Event showcasing 4 World Trade Center September 17.
On a gloriously perfect evening, the 365 degree spectacular views from the 68th floor wowed attendees. RFI’s Rose Reichman originated the concept of these annual fundraisers showcasing an innovative new building in NYC and once again put together last night’s event.
Over 250 people attended and $141,000 was raised for ACE. Following a video on Maki Associates’ architectural design, presentations were made on the structural engineering by Richard Garlock, LERA; the construction by Amy Wincko of Tishman Construction; and the overall site development from Malcolm Williams, Silverstein Properties.
Event Chairman Bruce Lilker, President, Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers, made the concluding remarks thanking the top level sponsors who had contributed $5,000 each. These include: Five Star Electric, Gerner, Kronick, + Valcarcel Architects DPC, Jaros, Baum and Bolles, Lilker, STV, Schindler Elevator, Silverstein Properties, Tishman Construction, Tishman Speyer and Weidlinger Associates.
