2011 Highlights

For the New York Building Foundation’s Construction for a Livable City (CLC), a program to encourage clean, safe worksites in New York City, RFI created a logo and PowerPoint presentation to launch this important new initiative.  For more information on CLC go to www.nybuildingfoundation.org.

For ENR New York, RFI wrote and coordinated development of three profiles—showcased in various issues of the magazine—on union masonry and BAC Local 1-NY; Gilbane Building Company's Mid- Atlantic Office; and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York), in celebration of the organization’s 90th anniversary.

In March, RFI placed an article in The Wall Street Journal featuring the Camille & Henry Dreyfus Foundation and its biennial prize. The Foundation’s mission is to advance the science of chemistry, chemical engineering and related sciences. For information on the Dreyfus Foundation, go to www.dreyfus.org.

Working with ACEC New York, RFI helped achieve placement of the first listing of the “New York Area’s Largest Engineering Firms” by Crain’s New York Business. The inaugural list appeared in the November 7 issue of the publication.

RFI developed a comprehensive PR Webinar Program for ACEC New York and presented it to members in November. To find out what consulting engineers need to know about public relations, click here.
